Google Started Translation of Nepali Language

KATHMANDU, DEC 11 - Internet search engine Google has started translation of 9 more languages including Nepali . Four of the added languages are of Asian dialect.

With the start of Nepali language translation , it has been believed that Nepali language will be promoted in the international arena. Google had already started the translation of Hindi language of India.

With the extended service, Google is now capable of translating over 80 different languages. 'Google Translate' is Google's free online language translation service that instantly translates text and web pages. Although it claims to translate as a professional translator through language dictionary software, some errors have been reported in Nepali translation .

44.6 per cent people speak Nepali as their mother tongue, according to the national consensus of 2068 BS.

'Google Translate' will now support Nepali along with Punjabi, Maori--an indigenous language from New Zealand and Mongolian language as well. Punjabi is the ninth most spoken language all over the world.
